CSS2 GRAND FINALS

The show will be broadcast on 25 August, 7.30pm.
The is how the procedure going to be like:

Round 1 Part 1: Both male contestant will sing 西界 by Lin Junjie.
Both female contestant will sing 我们的纪念日 by Fan Weiqi.

Round 1 Part 2:
Benjamin: 3-7-21 by Cao Ge
Shawn: 终结孤单 by Mayday
Keely: Mr Q by Jolin Tsai
Zheng Ning: 唯舞独尊 by Jolin Tsai

After Round 1 is over, they will announce the male and female champion.

Round 2 Part 1:
The male champion, either Shawn or Benjamin will duet with Teresa Tseng, the female champion of CSS1. They will be singing 梁山伯与茱丽叶 by Zhuo Wenxuan and Cao Ge.

The female champion, either Keely or Zheng Ning will duet with Chee Yang, the overall champion of CSS1. They will be singing 今天你要嫁给我 by David Tao and Jolin Tsai.

Round 2 Part 2:
*The contestants have yet to decide the songs.

Here are the voting terms and conditions:
Each SMS/Telepoll vote costs S$0.60 (excluding GST and local traffic charges)
Voters under 18 years of age must seek parental consent
Pre-paid card holders and overseas phone lines will not be able to vote

Eliminated: Agnes Low

This week's result is different from the previous weeks. The public voting constitute 70% of the result, which means that the marks they got the judges are no longer important as before. Only voting is able to decide contestants' fate. This is why Agnes got eliminated despite getting the 2nd highest in terms of the marks she got from the judges.

Do you know what is the purpose of the voting system? It is actually meant to save the contestant with the lowest score from being eliminated. It was seen from the previous few episodes of campus superstar.

A reminder to all supporters of the other 10 contestants:
Getting the highest score doesn't guarantee him/her to qualify for the next round. The most important is voting, despite the fact that it only weighs 30%. Pick up the phone and vote as much as you can!!! Every vote counts.

Campus Superstar 2 hot favourite, Shawn Tok was eliminated yesterday. There is no need for you to be so shocked by the results. This is nothing new, it happened before in PSS1, PSS2, CSS1, Superband etc.

Hot favourites are always the ones who got eliminated in the quarter finals. People often assume that they have a huge fan base and has this perception that they won't be eliminated. This week's results have proven you wrong.

To win in Campus Superstar, they need to compete for the number of votes and not the number of fans.

Yesterday's result was a shocking one. Javin They, who was the second highest in terms of the marks he got from the judges was eliminated. Instead, Junjie who got the lowest mark went into the next round. This proves how important the 30% public voting can be.

Last reminder to all CSS2 supporters, do vote for your favourite contestant. The 30% public voting can really make a difference in the overall result. I hope you guys take this as a lesson.

Congratulations to all contestants who have done well. Those who did not do well yesterday, don't be disheartened by the result, do continue to work hard.

Many people have been asking whether there will be a revival round. Yes, there is a revival round. For your information, it will be held on 16 July. 12 contestants who were eliminated in quarter finals will compete on the same day. Only 1 female and 1 male contestant will be able to make it to the semi finals. Each contestant will have 16.6% chance of proceeding to the semi finals.

Last but not least, do you guys prefer voting or you think the judges should have a total say in the results? Reply in the tagboard.
